- SYMPTOMS will appear as a large or small lump in the groin.
- CAUSES may be from lifting, straining at stool or coughing that weakens the
- tissue and allows a loop of intestine to push out and sometimes extend into
- the scrotum. More common in men than in women.
- TREATMENT. Wearing a truss or surgery may be required. Danger of gangrene.
